For portable operation, the Super II can be powered by a 12 volt, 2.3 ampere-hour, lead acid battery that is installed inside the base. When the battery is fully charged, it will operate the scale for a full shift and can be easily replaced through the rear battery door. The battery will recharge when the scale is left plugged into an electrical outlet for several hours.
